Day 1
Arrive Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey. Arrive in Istanbul Airport ( IST ) or to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport ( SAW ), Our representative will meet you at the airport. Proceed to your hotel for check in.
Transfers will be done based on your flight arrival time.
Day 2
Istanbul City Tour
After breakfast, our journey begins in Istanbul, the only city in the world situated on two continents. Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul - its three names span more than 2600 years, nearly 1600 of them as the capital of two of the greatest empires the world has known, Byzantine and Ottoman. We visit the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place. You will have some free time at the Grand Bazaar. Finaly enjoy dinner during your Bosphorus cruise before you head to you hotel.
Day 3
ISTANBUL - CAPPADOCIA
Early morning check out and procced to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival proceed for sightseeing. The famous fairy chimneys and fantastic colorful shapes of the landscape, make this region a natural wonder of the world. Relax and explore this historic, wondrous and romantic landscape
Day 4
CAPPADOCIA
Very early departure for hot air ballooning (Optional) once in a life time experience to see amazing and spectacular landscape that has been sculpted by erosion over thousands of years.
After breakfast visit to Devrent Valley where various types of fairy chimneys are abundant. We will walk through this amazing valley. Thereafter visit Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) with multiple stems and caps, peculiar to this area. After visiting Pasabagi, drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak River, the longest river of Turkey. Later proceed to Kaymakli or Ozkonak Underground cities. Thereafter time to take photos in the neighboring valleys
Day 5
CAPPADOCIA - KUSADASI (VIA ISTANBUL)
Early morning, check out and transfer to airport for flight to Izmir. Upon your arrival to Izmir meet you guide and drive to Ephesus. Visit Artemis Temple where is one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to Ephesus, walk through history along marble streets lined with some wonderful public buildings, among them The State Agora, Odeon, Memnius Monument, the Temple of Domitian, etc. Later drive to Kusadasi.
Day 6
KUSADASI - PAMUKKALE - KUSADASI
Drive to Pamukkale for a days excursion. Discovery of Travertine terraces and Hierapolis. The travertine terraces at Pamukkale are one of the most spectacular natural wonders we ever have seen from various mineral springs in a vast white cliff side, about 200 m overlooking the plain, calcite-laden waters have dripped down over a series of terraced levels and created a fairyland of bizarre solidified cascades and shell-shaped basins. It looks like creations from snow or like balls from cotton, which gave the scenery the Turkish name Pamukkale (cotton castle): Moreover the water in the basins is changing its color according to how the light enters.
Day 7
KUSADASI - IZMIR DEPARTURE
This morning check out and transfer to Izmir airport for your flight home. You departure transfers will be arranged based on your flight departure time.
If you wish to travel to Istanbul or any other destination, required arrangements can be made subject to availability and at an additional cost.

Not all hotels in this tour will have air-conditioning so you should carry a small portable fan with you especially during the summer months.
Please also note that not all hotels provide a kettle so if hot water is required for warming milk etc. in the hotel then it is advisable to carry a bottle warmer/kettle as well as a thermos flask. Passengers may also want to carry a small travel iron and hairdryer etc., as many hotel rooms may not have these facilities.
If you use services such as the phone or mini-bar or pay TV whilst in your room, you will have to pay the hotel directly when you check out; these services are not included in your tour cost.

Taxis and mini-buses often over charge tourists. You should agree a charge with the driver before the journey commences and ensure that a seat belt is worn at all times.

In spring and autumn you may encounter rain, and the air may be cool or even chilly at night, but comfortable during the day; bring a warm jacket or a sweater and windbreaker.
In In Southeastern Turkey there will be little rain, and warm weather, so pack as for a mild summer.
Passengers should arrive at the requested airport, you will meet the tour rep directly at the arrival terminal at the destination.

Baggage
Baggage allowance on domestic flights will be 15kg, Please ensure you adhere to current aviation regulations. Please remember that passengers' will have to carry their luggage to and from the coach to the hotel room.
Entry requirements for American and British Passports holders: Visas are not required for travel by UK passport holders endorsed British Citizen, Passport must be valid for six months beyond intended travel.
Entry requirements for Indian Passport Holders: Passport valid for at least 6 months upon arrival. Visas are required and are issued upon arrival for tourist stay of max. 30 days. For other nationalities please call our office for further information.
In Istanbul and around the Sea of Marmara the climate is moderate. In winter 4 degrees and summer 27 degrees (39 & 80 Fahrenheit). In Western Turkey there is a mild Mediterranean climate with average temperatures of 9 degrees in winter and 29 degrees in summer. The climate in the Black Sea area is wet, warm and humid.
We will accept lightweight manual wheelchair for travel, subject to them being capable of being stowed in the luggage hold of the vehicle. It is also essential that a family member is also on tour to push the wheelchair. Star Tours will also request hotels for suitably equipped rooms; however, this is only on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed.
For us to request a wheelchair for you with the airline, this request should be made to us in writing at the time of booking. The allocation of the wheelchair will be at the discretion of the airline/airport.
