Day 1
Milan - Lake Como - Lake Lugano - Milan (Distance: 185 Kms)
Tour Departure: 12:00 hrs
Upon arrival in Milan, we meet our representative, who will assist us as we begin our scenic journey towards the beautiful lakes of Northern Italy and Southern Switzerland. This delightful excursion offers an introduction to some of the region’s most picturesque landscapes, where crystal-clear waters, charming lakeside towns and majestic Alpine scenery combine to create an unforgettable experience.
Our first destination is Lake Como, one of Italy’s most celebrated and enchanting lakes, situated at the foothills of the magnificent Alps. Famous for its deep blue waters, dramatic mountain scenery and elegant waterfront villas, Lake Como has long been a favourite retreat for travellers seeking natural beauty, tranquillity and Italian sophistication. The surrounding landscape is dotted with charming villages, historic residences and beautifully landscaped gardens, creating a postcard-perfect setting at every turn.
Upon arrival in the town of Como, we have time to explore its charming surroundings and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this lakeside destination. We can take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront promenade, admire the sweeping views across the lake and capture photographs of the picturesque scenery. The town itself features attractive streets, inviting cafés, boutique shops and historic architecture, offering a wonderful glimpse into traditional Italian life. Depending on the time available, we may also admire the impressive Como Cathedral, known for its striking Gothic and Renaissance architectural details. As we enjoy the lakeside ambience, we can appreciate why Lake Como has become internationally renowned as a destination for celebrities, artists and discerning travellers.
Following our visit to Lake Como, we continue towards Lake Lugano, crossing the border into Switzerland. Set amid rolling hills and the foothills of the Alps, this beautiful lake straddles the Swiss-Italian border and is celebrated for its tranquil waters, scenic mountain views and distinctive blend of Swiss elegance and Mediterranean charm.
We arrive in the lakeside city of Lugano, one of the most attractive destinations in Switzerland’s Italian-speaking Ticino region. During our short stop, we have an opportunity to explore the charming town centre, wander through its picturesque streets and admire the elegant squares, colourful buildings and inviting cafés. Those who prefer a more relaxed experience can enjoy a peaceful walk along the lakefront promenade, where palm trees, landscaped gardens and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains create a wonderfully serene atmosphere. The combination of Alpine scenery and a distinctly Italian way of life makes Lugano a particularly memorable stop on our journey.
After enjoying the beauty of Lake Lugano, we begin our return journey to Milan, travelling once again through the scenic landscapes of Northern Italy. Upon arrival in the city, we proceed for a delicious Indian dinner, offering a familiar and satisfying dining experience after a day spent exploring two of Europe's most beautiful lakes.
Following dinner, we transfer to our hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Milan, bringing our scenic excursion through Italy and Switzerland to a pleasant close.
Note: The tour starts at 12:00 hrs. Guests should be ready to meet the representative at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time.
Day 2
Lake Maggiore - Sirmione -Verona - Venice Area (Distance: 385 Kms)
After breakfast, we begin our day with a scenic visit to Lake Maggiore, one of Italy’s largest and most beautiful lakes, renowned for its sparkling waters, lush green surroundings and magnificent Alpine backdrop. Stretching across Northern Italy and into southern Switzerland, the lake is celebrated for its natural beauty, elegant lakeside towns and charming islands. As we arrive in the region, we can enjoy the refreshing atmosphere and admire the peaceful landscape, where mountains rise majestically above the water and picturesque villages line the shores. The lake is also famous for the beautiful Borromean Islands, known for their historic palaces, landscaped gardens and captivating scenery. During our visit, we have an opportunity to appreciate the tranquil surroundings, take photographs and enjoy the serene charm of this delightful lakeside destination.
We then continue our journey towards Sirmione, a picturesque town situated on a narrow peninsula extending into the southern part of Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. Surrounded by shimmering blue waters and framed by beautiful mountain views, Sirmione is one of the most enchanting destinations in the region. Its distinctive combination of natural beauty, historic architecture and relaxed Italian atmosphere makes it a favourite among visitors.
Upon arrival, we explore the charming town centre, where narrow cobbled streets, traditional buildings, boutique shops and inviting cafés create a wonderful setting for a leisurely stroll. One of the town’s most recognisable landmarks is the impressive Scaligero Castle (Castello Scaligero), a remarkably preserved medieval fortress surrounded by water at the entrance to the historic centre. We can admire its imposing towers and fortified walls, which offer a glimpse into the region’s fascinating past. Sirmione is also renowned for the archaeological remains of the Grotte di Catullo, the ruins of a large Roman villa overlooking the lake, as well as its long-standing tradition of thermal spas. During our short visit, we can enjoy the beautiful lakeside views, capture memorable photographs and soak in the relaxed atmosphere of this charming Italian town.
Following our visit to Sirmione, we proceed to Verona, a historic city celebrated for its rich cultural heritage, elegant architecture and association with William Shakespeare’s timeless love story, Romeo and Juliet. Located in the Veneto region, Verona combines ancient Roman landmarks with charming medieval streets and lively piazzas, making it one of Northern Italy’s most captivating cities.
Upon arrival, we enjoy a brief orientation tour of the city, taking in some of its most famous sights. One of the highlights is Juliet’s Balcony (Casa di Giulietta), a popular attraction associated with Shakespeare’s tragic romance. Visitors from around the world come here to admire the historic courtyard and the famous balcony, making it one of Verona’s best-known landmarks. We also see the magnificent Verona Arena, an ancient Roman amphitheatre dating back to the first century AD. Remarkably well preserved, the arena continues to host concerts and world-renowned opera performances, particularly during the summer opera season. Its impressive stone structure stands as a testament to Verona’s Roman heritage and enduring cultural significance.
As we explore the city, we can appreciate the beautiful blend of Roman, medieval and Renaissance influences that characterise Verona’s historic centre. The elegant squares, historic facades and lively streets provide a wonderful introduction to the city, offering plenty of opportunities for photographs and memorable sightseeing.
Later in the day, we continue our journey towards the Venice area, travelling through the picturesque landscapes of Northern Italy. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel and complete the check-in formalities, allowing time to relax and unwind after a day filled with scenic lakes, historic towns and cultural discoveries.
In the evening, we gather for a delicious buffet-style Indian dinner, enjoying a selection of familiar Indian dishes in a comfortable setting. After dinner, we return to the hotel to relax and prepare for the next stage of our Italian journey, with the enchanting canals, historic landmarks and unique atmosphere of Venice awaiting us.
Day 3
Venice - St Mark's Square - Innsbruck (Distance: 395 Kms)
After breakfast, we begin our day by making our way to the Venice port, where we board a Vaporetto, Venice’s traditional public water bus, for a scenic journey across the Venetian Lagoon towards the historic heart of the city. As we travel along the waterways, we can enjoy beautiful views of Venice’s distinctive skyline, historic buildings and charming waterfront, offering a wonderful introduction to this world-famous floating city.
Upon arrival, we explore the magnificent St Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), one of Venice’s most celebrated landmarks and a focal point of its rich history and architectural heritage. Often regarded as the city’s main gathering place, the square is surrounded by elegant historic buildings, charming cafés and impressive monuments that reflect Venice’s former grandeur as a powerful maritime republic.
Here, we admire the spectacular facade of St Mark’s Basilica, renowned for its magnificent domes, intricate mosaics and beautiful Byzantine-inspired architecture. Nearby stands the impressive Campanile of St Mark’s, the city’s iconic bell tower, rising approximately 99 metres above the square and offering a distinctive feature of Venice’s skyline. We will also have time to appreciate the elegant Doge’s Palace, a remarkable example of Venetian Gothic architecture that once served as the residence of the Doge and the centre of the Venetian government.
During our exploration, we can photograph the famous Bridge of Sighs, an elegant enclosed bridge connecting the Doge’s Palace with the historic prison buildings. Its name is associated with the sighs of prisoners who, according to tradition, caught their final glimpse of Venice through its windows before imprisonment. We will also see the beautiful Torre dell’Orologio, or Clock Tower, an architectural masterpiece featuring an ornate astronomical clock that has marked time in the city for centuries.
No visit to Venice would be complete without experiencing one of its most iconic traditions: a gondola ride. We enjoy a leisurely journey aboard a traditional Venetian gondola, gliding gently through the narrow canals and beneath charming stone bridges. Along the way, we admire historic palaces, elegant Renaissance facades and picturesque waterways that reveal a quieter and more intimate side of the city. This memorable experience offers wonderful opportunities for photographs and a chance to appreciate the unique atmosphere that makes Venice so enchanting.
Following our sightseeing and gondola experience, we begin our journey north towards Austria, travelling through the changing landscapes of northern Italy and across the scenic Alpine region. As we continue towards the Austrian border, the scenery gradually transforms into dramatic mountain vistas, lush valleys and picturesque countryside.
By late afternoon or early evening, we arrive in Innsbruck, the beautiful capital of Tyrol, nestled in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Renowned for its stunning mountain backdrop, historic old town and rich cultural heritage, Innsbruck offers a wonderful blend of traditional Austrian charm and spectacular natural scenery. The city is particularly famous for its colourful historic buildings, imperial landmarks and close connection to winter sports.
Upon arrival, we make our way to our hotel for check-in and some time to relax after the day's journey. We then proceed to the restaurant for dinner, enjoying a pleasant evening in the Alpine surroundings of Innsbruck before settling in for the night.
Day 4
Innsbruck - Swarovski - Vaduz - Zurich (Distance: 310 Kms)
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and begin our journey to Wattens, Austria, home to the spectacular Swarovski Crystal Worlds (Swarovski Kristallwelten). Opened in 1995 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Swarovski company, this unique attraction celebrates the beauty, creativity and innovation of crystal through a fascinating combination of art, design and imagination.
Upon arrival, we explore the enchanting world of Swarovski, where sparkling crystal creations are transformed into extraordinary works of art. The highlight of our visit is the remarkable Chambers of Wonder, a series of immersive exhibition spaces featuring imaginative installations created by internationally renowned artists, designers and architects. Each chamber offers a distinctive experience, combining light, colour, sound and crystal to create captivating displays that challenge the boundaries between art and reality. The surrounding gardens also provide a delightful setting for a leisurely stroll, with striking sculptures, landscaped spaces and impressive architectural features.
Before departing, we will have time to browse the Swarovski flagship store, which showcases an extensive collection of crystal jewellery, accessories, decorative pieces and gift items. This is an ideal opportunity to find a special souvenir or keepsake to remember our visit.
We then continue our journey to Vaduz, the charming capital of Liechtenstein, one of Europe's smallest countries, nestled between Switzerland and Austria. Surrounded by the beautiful Alpine landscape, Vaduz offers a pleasant blend of picturesque scenery, modern architecture and traditional European charm. During our short stop, we will have an opportunity to explore the town centre, admire its streets and take in views of some of its notable landmarks.
One of the main highlights is Schloss Vaduz (Vaduz Castle), the official residence of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. Perched on a hillside above the town, the castle is an impressive landmark that provides a striking backdrop to the capital. Although the castle itself is not generally open to the public, we can admire its exterior from suitable viewpoints and enjoy panoramic views of Vaduz and the surrounding mountains.
Following our visit to Liechtenstein, we continue towards Zurich, travelling through the scenic landscapes of the Swiss region. As we approach Switzerland's largest city, the scenery gradually transitions from Alpine surroundings to a vibrant urban setting. We expect to arrive in Zurich by late afternoon, where we can settle in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, perhaps taking a relaxing walk or discovering the city's charming streets and waterfront at our own pace.
Note: Drop off to Zurich Airport will be at 17:30

When travelling to Europe, its crucial to ensure your passport and visa requirements are in order before departure.
Passport Requirements:
Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your intended stay in Europe. It should also have been issued within the last ten years and/have sufficient blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
Visa Requirements:
If you are a national of India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh, you must obtain a Schengen visa before travelling. This visa allows entry into any of the 27 Schengen countries for short stays (up to 90 days within 180 days).
Ensure you apply for your Schengen visa well in advance, as processing times may vary.
Nationals of British, American, Australian, Canadian, and other visa-exempt countries currently do not require a Schengen visa for short stays (up to 90 days within 180 days). However, starting in 2025, all visa-exempt travellers (including British and American citizens) must apply for ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) before entering the Schengen Area.
The ETIAS application is a simple online process that requires travellers to provide personal information and pay a small fee (7). Once approved, the authorisation will be valid for three years or until your passport expires.
Entry/Exit System (EES):
From Early 2025, the EES will be introduced across Schengen countries. This system will electronically record the entry and exit of all non-EU travellers, replacing manual passport stamping. Travelers biometric data (fingerprints and facial images) will be/recorded during their first entry into the Schengen Area.

The weather across much of Western and Central Europe, including France, Germany, Belgium and Italy can be variable and unpredictable, like in/England. Regardless of the time of year, carrying an umbrella and preparing for sudden weather changes is always advisable.
Temperature Variations:
France, Belgium and Germany: In these countries, the weather can fluctuate widely depending on the season. Summers can bring temperatures around 25-30°C, while winters are much colder, often dropping below 5°C.
Italy: Southern European countries, particularly Italy, tend to have warmer temperatures, especially in summer, when temperatures can reach 30-40°C. Coastal areas tend to be more temperate.
Switzerland: Temperatures can vary dramatically in alpine regions, particularly in Switzerland. During high-altitude excursions, temperatures can range between 0°C and 2°C on mountaintops, even in summer, while lowland areas could simultaneously experience temperatures exceeding 30°C.
Its a good idea to check the specific forecast for each destination before your trip, especially on a multi-destination tour, as you may encounter different weather conditions in each country.
Preparation Tips:
Layered Clothing: Bring a variety of clothing layers to adjust to changing temperatures throughout the day.
Winter Months: If travelling in winter, be aware that daylight hours are short, and sightseeing often happens in the dark. It gets dark in Northern Europe and the Alps, sometimes as early as 16:00 hrs.
Footwear & Accessories: Comfortable shoes, waterproof jackets, and cold-weather gear (for alpine regions) are highly recommended.
By preparing for various conditions, travellers can comfortably enjoy their time across these beautiful European destinations, regardless of season.
We welcome passengers using lightweight manual wheelchairs on our tours, provided the wheelchair can be stowed in the coachs luggage hold. Passengers are encouraged to contact us in advance to ensure we can meet their specific mobility needs. Our staff will try to assist passengers with reduced mobility in compliance with the Regulations. Please note, however, that a family member or companion will need to be present to assist with pushing the wheelchair throughout the tour.
We will request accessible hotel rooms for wheelchair users wherever possible, but this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. We advise passengers to inform us of their requirements in advance so we can make the necessary requests.
Please be aware that specific destinations, such as Mt. Titlis and the Eiffel Tower, are inaccessible to wheelchair users. Additionally, locations like Brussels, Lucerne, Lion Monument, Pisa, Rome, Venice, and Florence have cobbled streets, which may make it difficult for wheelchairs to navigate. Passengers should take these factors into account when planning their trip.
Child Seat Requirements:
In most European countries, it is mandatory for children under the age of 12 years or shorter than 150 cm to use appropriate child restraints while travelling in a coach.
Children under seven years old or under 125 cm tall must use a child seat with a harness or/appropriate restraint system.
Children aged 7 to 12 years or between 125 cm and 150 cm tall must use a booster seat or a seat cushion.
The parent or guardian is responsible for providing a suitable child seat for their child. Passengers should ensure they bring the appropriate child restraint system that complies with local laws in the visited countries, as there may be minor variations in regulations across European nations.
Baggage and Packing
Due to limited storage space on coaches, checking the baggage allowance for your tour before departure is essential. Ensure your luggage meets the size and weight requirements in your tour documents. Excess baggage may not be permitted.
Pack a small day bag for personal items, medications, snacks, and travel documents to keep with you during the journey, as accessing the main luggage may not be possible until designated stops.
Punctuality
Respect timings during stops; there will be scheduled comfort breaks and sightseeing stops throughout the tour. Be sure to return to the coach on time after each stop to avoid delays and respect the entire group's schedule. Coaches operate on a strict timetable to ensure that all scheduled visits and activities are completed on time. Passengers who arrive late at any point may risk missing the coach, as drivers cannot wait beyond the allocated time for each stop.
The tour may sometimes involve changes in coaches or representatives, particularly when merging with other groups. Please adhere to the instructed times for these transitions to ensure smooth coordination.
Coach Facilities
While most coaches are equipped with WC facilities, they may be limited in availability. Using restroom facilities during scheduled breaks at rest stops is recommended to avoid discomfort.
Seating and Safety:
By law, passengers must wear seat belts where fitted. Seats are pre-assigned and given to you on the departure date. Seat requests are not taken under any circumstance.
Personal Health and Medication
Bring any necessary medications with you in your day bag. If you are prone to motion sickness, carry appropriate remedies or medications to ensure a comfortable journey.
If your tour includes high-altitude destinations, ensure you are medically fit to travel at such heights. Those with heart or lung conditions should consult a doctor beforehand. Pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and warm clothing, as temperatures can vary significantly at high altitudes.
Cultural and Local Etiquette
Be mindful of the local customs and etiquette, especially when visiting religious or historical sites. Dress modestly where required, and be respectful of local customs and traditions.
Electronics and Connectivity
Some coaches are equipped with USB charging ports, but this is not guaranteed. Ensure your devices are charged beforehand, and consider bringing a portable charger/power bank.
WiFi is unavailable on the coach, so bring along books, headphones, or downloaded movies and music to enjoy during long journey stretches.
Environmental Awareness
Be conscious of the environment during your tour. Carry a reusable water bottle to reduce plastic waste, fill up at restaurants and hotels, and dispose of trash properly at rest stops.
